His followers came to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus. He wasn't there! In excitement, all but one follower fled to tell the ones hiding behind locked door in fear of retribution. The one standing near the empty tomb wondered at where the body of Jesus had been taken. There was a man near by, the follower asked. thinking the man was a gardener; "where have you taken my Lord?" The man she thought was the gardener said; Mary!

I was born Richard Thomas 70 years ago in Southern California. Art has always been my passion, especially painting with acrylics, oils or water color. As well as drawing. Studied architectural drafting and design at San Bernardino Valley Junior College between 1968 and 1970. In the Fall of 1970, I chose a different vocation. By June of 2004, Richard Thomas retired from the retail meat cutting trade. After all my chores were done at home I started another career working in a local camera shop in 2006 to supplement my retirement income, where I was exposed to another art form - painting WITH light.
