Artist's Description

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, two miles (3 km) West of Amesbury. Since the first known excavation at Stonehenge undertaken in the 1620s by the Duke of Buckingham, prompted by a visit by King James I, archeologists are still scratching their heads by the mystery of this famous pile of rocks.

Richard Thomas

I was born Richard Thomas 70 years ago in Southern California. Art has always been my passion, especially painting with acrylics, oils or water color. As well as drawing. Studied architectural drafting and design at San Bernardino Valley Junior College between 1968 and 1970. In the Fall of 1970, I chose a different vocation. By June of 2004, Richard Thomas retired from the retail meat cutting trade. After all my chores were done at home I started another career working in a local camera shop in 2006 to supplement my retirement income, where I was exposed to another art form - painting WITH light.
