Morning sun shines down upon lofty branches of the red crepe myrtle tree; just one of the many varieties of tree displayed around the neighborhood city park. Though it is before 8 am, the heatwave reminds us that Summer is not over and I should not take my time walking home.
About Richard Thomas
I was born Richard Thomas 70 years ago in Southern California. Art has always been my passion, especially painting with acrylics, oils or water color. As well as drawing. Studied architectural drafting and design at San Bernardino Valley Junior College between 1968 and 1970. In the Fall of 1970, I chose a different vocation. By June of 2004, Richard Thomas retired from the retail meat cutting trade. After all my chores were done at home I started another career working in a local camera shop in 2006 to supplement my retirement income, where I was exposed to another art form - painting WITH light.
