Mojave Desert boundaries include the Tehachapi Mountains and the Sierra Pelona Ridge to the west. The Sierra Nevada and the Inyo Mountains to the northwest. The San Gabriel Mountains and San Bernardino Mountains to the south. Extends to the orders on: Great Basin and Sonoran Deserts to the northeast. Rivers are: Mojave, that flows north from the San Bernardino Mountains before disappearing beneath desert sand. And the Colorado River creating the boundaries of Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.
